Installation Requirements

To complete the retrofit, the following components must be used:

• COMAND NTG 5.5 head unit

• IC213 instrument cluster

If using an aftermarket IC213 cluster, its mileage must not exceed the vehicle’s original mileage.

Important Notes

• New COMAND NTG 5.5 units are not compatible with old RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment).
  → Additional components or RSE retrofit wiring may be required for proper operation.

• Fully supports MBUX-related retrofits in W253 model
