The DriveUnit Gateway Module is a professional retrofit solution engineered to enable full AMG Drive Unit functionality when installing an AMG Performance steering wheel in Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with NTG5.5 or NTG6.0 (MBUX) head units. This advanced module emulates the original AMG Drive Unit, ensuring seamless integration, factory-style operation, and full visual feedback directly on the steering wheel and vehicle displays.

Designed for precision retrofitting, the DriveUnit Gateway Module allows configurable steering wheel drive unit functions during installation, making it adaptable to different vehicle specifications and customer preferences. A standout feature of this module is the ability to replace the original startup animation with a custom animation or personalized logo, delivering a truly bespoke AMG experience.

Additionally, aftermarket exhaust sound generators can be controlled via a dedicated 12V / 1A output, allowing on/off switching directly through the factory head unit menu.
